My goal is helping people and companies achieve their potential. I believe learning and growing should be continuous, fun, relevant, and ''edutaining''. Life is too short to waste time on things that are not engaging. I still remember everything I learned in Schoolhouse Rock, don't you? I believe everyone wants to be the best they can be, driven by Dan Pink's autonomy, mastery, and purpose; that everyone wants to be engaged; that everyone wants to own their development, not have their company do it for them. Wouldn't it be amazing to help people achieve their potential while helping their companies to do the same?! That's why we developed the Self-Directed Learning Engine™ (SDLE) and AlumniAssist™ – to create a culture where people embrace learning, and have the best opportunity for learning transfer and change of skills, which then impacts professional and organizational success, as well as employee engagement and loyalty. Our software helps people be GREAT at their jobs. It helps them get the job they want. It helps them upskill and reskill as skill requirements change so they thrive. And that makes me excited to wake up and start every day. I’ve done a tremendous amount of competency model development and implementation, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and passion with others – delivering webinars and posting as often as possible. Check out my list of content on the SkillDirector, Association for Talent Development (ATD) site, and the Competency Models for Professional Development LinkedIn Group.
