Glynnis is Planning, Technical and Sustainability Director for LiveWest and Board Member for Building Better. She is the lead for sustainability and MMC within LiveWest and has introduced an enhanced new homes energy specification and multifunctional green spaces policy. Leading a multifunctional team Glynnis has responsibility for design and placemaking, strategic and operational planning, Sustainability and low carbon design, MMC, technical compliance and specifications and frameworks. Glynnis is an exceptionally experienced professional with a broad career spanning 22 years which started with the Environment Agency and Local Government before a move into PLC housebuilding. 10 years in several roles with increasing seniority at Galliford Try culminated in project managing several technically challenging and complex sites including gasworks, mining sites and Sherford New Town before moving into non-profit housing delivery. Glynnis has accumulated significant experience in managing consortium projects and Joint Venture partnerships and regularly presents internally and externally. Glynnis is a well respected professional representing LiveWest on the NHF decarbonisation group and Good Homes Alliance Pathfinder network. Skilled in feasibility studies, planning negotiation, design, sustainability, managing multidisciplinary teams and experienced in negotiating with external regulating authorities, Glynnis is a strong technical professional with excellent leadership, communication and inter-personal skills with a BSc Hons in Environmental Science and MRes in Contaminated Land Management.
