Bio

• Kim Boericke has been in operations within the drug development industry since 1996. She worked her way up from Project Manager to President of Commercialization and Outcomes. She has worked for many of the CROs across her career including ClinTrials, Quintiles (2 times), INC Research, Duke Clinical Research Institute, i3 Research, and ICON. Recently, she was the Chairwoman of the Board for Mapi Research Trust, led the Commercialization and Outcomes division, and served as part of the executive leadership team at ICON. She was also the global head of the decentralized clinical trial solutions unit responsible for advising, planning and delivering decentralized clinical trials across many different platforms. Kim was part of the executive steering committee for the diversity, inclusion and belong initiative at ICON. She was the executive sponsor for the Network of Women (NOW) and for PRIDE. • Kim is known for being a strong operator. She has designed, built and restructured organizations throughout her career, most recently building the decentralized clinical trial solutions unit for ICON. She is a pragmatic leader who works with her teams to develop the right solutions for the patients, the sites and the customers. She has been a mentor throughout her career and believes it is part of her responsibility to help the next set of leaders move forward in their careers. • Kim is currently the Chief Delivery Officer for THREAD. She is responsible for working with her customers and teams to plan, design, implement the THREAD platform to support decentral clinical trial data collection. She is currently an independent board director for the Mapi Research Trust. Her goals are to be able to share her experience and expertise with her teams and to continue to grow within an organization.
