Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of FireAngel Safety Technology. Throughout his career, Nick has been fascinated by the future and what could be – sidestepping the industry status quo to inspire new ideas and design innovative solutions for the domestic safety market. His ability to draw out the best in others and build strong relationships has seen the company grow from a start-up to a successful AIM listed business, shipping millions of products each year. Nick’s strength in identifying unique qualities in people and energising others with his vision, has grown a culture based around collaboration and original thinking, with FireAngel achieving many industry firsts and holding over 80 granted patents. A graduate of Industrial Design, Nick worked as a Product Designer for Philips in Hong Kong, before returning to the UK to channel his passion to improve fire and home safety in communities through technological advances, evolving the sector from basic and low value alarms to sophisticated IoT solutions utilising AI with the potential of averting fires before they even start. Creative, original and conceptual, Nick’s ability to predict opportunities paired with a drive for success, ensures he finds the best route forward in any given scenario.
