Me in a nutshell: I deeply care about creating genuine connections with everyone I meet. I assume positive intent. I challenge the status quo. I believe in the art of the possible. I connect dots quickly. I make lemonade out of lemons. I am impatient about problems that can be solved not being solved. I apply the 5 whys. I hate politics. I see the silver linings. I bring my whole self to everything I do. Over the course of my career, by design, I have chosen to grow through different types of roles I am an operating model geek with a passion for retail. I have worked with/for hyper-growth startups to fortune 500 companies, in roles that span strategy, operations, people, technology, marketing, sales and consulting. In my current role, I love that I get to tackle one of things in this world I have never been able to find zen about - bad customer service. It's so simple: as humans we all want to be heard, respected and helped. Treat your employees and your customers like you want to be treated! I'm particularly passionate about how to open the aperture of what it means to empower a truly diverse and inclusive environment. Most organizations have created environments that recruit and reward like thinking and experience. For visions and missions to be realized, DE&I must be a priority in action. The stats for themselves - better outcomes come as a result of different perspectives. It's so simple: we all have something to bring to the table. When people are happy in their role they pay forward that energy to customers, colleagues, friends, family and the world around them. Leading with authenticity, empathy, enthusiasm, pragmatism and integrity is the cornerstone of my approach. It's so simple: we all want to feel valued and proud of what we do...creating the conditions for that to actualize with everyone I meet is what fuels my fire.
