The event was organized very well. There were a lot of developers from different countries and different companies. It had a good scheduling, so I had opportunity to listen to talks from several fields. I was a speaker in job development room. My talk went smoothly and the audience asked really good questions. Overall, the event was really great. It was cool to see so many people passionate about programming and development.

Great! Great inspiration, and meeting with friends.
What did you like best about the event?
There was diversity in the talks, and there was lots of stuff I'd never heard of or knew about, yet it was really interesting.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Nothing that comes to mind. Considering it's all free and driven by volunteers, they pulled off an amazing feat (again!).

The heart of the open source community.
What did you like best about the event?
FOSDEM is all about the community. It truly is by and for open-source contributors. Great content and great collaboration.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I don't know that they can really. It's a victim of its own success, so frankly, it's too crowded, but I don't see how they can fix that.

Fun, but a little chaotic.
What did you like best about the event?
The people that go are great. I got great suggestions after my talk, and I saw talks by some people that are true leaders in the field, but happy to talk to you after.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Some more signage would help to find rooms. See if a few more food trucks could be encouraged to join. Chance to test video at some point prior to talk (would require breaks in schedule).

Great event!
What did you like best about the event?
I really liked the overall quality of the talks that were presented. Speakers seemed to really prepare their talks and had interesting things to say.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The quality of air in some buildings was not great. For example, the K building could use more ventilation.

There was a great mix of attendees. Super volunteers.
What did you like best about the event?
It isn't formal, but it is big—a great setting in the University. It had a fantastic party atmosphere.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I didn't find all the matrix rooms that helpful. There were lots of them with little in them. Perhaps condense those into fewer rooms.

It was a great conference with diverse topics and enthusiastic attendees.
What did you like best about the event?
In addition to some excellent keynotes, I liked the large number of parallel sessions covering various topics.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Provide shuttle busses to the Central Station at the end of the conference, as was the case in some previous years.

People, talks and tech
What did you like best about the event?
A lot of interesting topics, and a major event for FLOSS communities because this is the occasion to meet a lot of people we are working with.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
More places to sit or relax, more power supplies. A lot of people in tram and buses.

A good event overall
What did you like best about the event?
I had a great experience conducting my session. The organizers of the dev. room were cordial. The best aspect of the event was the quality of the audience and the duration of the sessions.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The event was overwhelming in terms of the number of parallel tracks. Probably extending the event to 3-4 days would be helpful as there were many sessions that I would have liked to attend.

Excellent!
What did you like best about the event?
The perfect time management in all rooms, the free access without registration, the social beer events organized by dev rooms, and the availability of not-too-expensive food at the food trucks.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I had difficulty finding my way on the campus during the first few hours (finding Janson, then finding UB); I found the direction sometimes signs misleading (e.g., UA sign pointing in front of UB, or Janson pointing through F, so I was expecting to find it inside F), I saw an attempt to do colored main paths on maps, they could be physically visible on the paths themselves e.g. with bright colored or crepe paper atop every door on each path.

Exciting. It was my first experience as a speaker.
What did you like best about the event?
The variety of topics. They were impressed by knowing that the speakers were almost a thousand in total.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
We are improving the directions to reach the development rooms. Everything else is okay.

Why Fosdem is something as open source enthusiast, you should attend
What did you like best about the event?
The networking, all the booths where you can talk with the people working on the stuff you like, the various talks to discover new stuff and get updates about the IT world.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Add bigger rooms as they aren't often enough, a lot of people wait outside, the U building is not easy to reach for the 5 floors.

A great event, with a "not bad" online experience.
What did you like best about the event?
The best thing about the event is the ton of information provided and the broad range of it.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Video streaming was sub-optimal, with several freezes. Room mic is non-existent; either the room should be "mic-ed," or the speaker should be asked to repeat the questions asked.

FOSDEM is really an awesome conference, but attendees are sometimes rude.
What did you like best about the event?
This is one of the best open-source and libre software conferences in Europe. The fact that devrooms are semi-autonomous is really great; it captures the heart of all different communities better.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
In some dev rooms, the organizers should try to be stricter with attendees, who tend to be rude and make a lot of noise.

It's a good place to be, but I would prefer some workshops and more interaction with the audience.
What did you like best about the event?
The audience is interested and wants to make a difference; I am happy to see it.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Rooms too small for at least the rail session. Also, the EU track was left outside in the hallway on Saturday.
