"Overall, a good event to be at!"

There were several interesting companies serving the financial services and fintech space, some familiar, others new to me. AI is a major focus within the financial services sector I work in, so the event was valuable from that perspective. However, since the event was largely industry-agnostic despite having a finance component, some firms fell outside my area of interest.

I thought there was definitely a lot of vendors to choose from, a lot of different types of AI technologies. There was a good amount of overlap, so it did feel like some of the booths were a bit repetitive, even though they were different companies, they were often leveraging a lot of the standard LLMs in order to basically help do data analysis, but there were some also some very interesting um. Vendors that were there. if anything, it felt like maybe they were trying to pack more vendors in. So it is an interesting way to kind of get a global quick perspective on what's happening in the industry.

Very positive experience!
What did you like best about the event?
The networking sessions were excellent. Collaborating with external AI vendors and potential buyers provided valuable perspective on industry-wide AI trends and needs. The venue was well organized and easy to navigate, and the speaker sessions were informative.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Food and beverage options could be improved. The limited food supply ran out quickly, leaving many vendors, especially those in meetings or managing booths, with very few options to eat.

What did you like best about the event?
I liked that many presentations were happening simultaneously, which allowed attendees to choose from a wide variety of options.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Some sessions were vague and did not align with their descriptions. The organizers should ensure that each presentation has sufficient depth and substance. There is little value in speakers covering AI topics only at a high level. Attendees come to learn from concrete examples, practical insights, and detailed teach-ins.

Interesting event!
What did you like best about the event?
I felt as though the organization was attempting to define a foundational role in the field of AI, and it was quite informative overall.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Javits is a challenging venue for events; a hotel setting would have been more suitable. Additionally, each speaker should have had a microphone, sharing three mics among eight people disrupted the flow and quality of the conversation.
