  1. Please briefly elaborate on your Co-founder/Regional Director role at IBCCS Georgia.

Thank you for your interest in IBCCS Georgia, and I appreciate the opportunity to share my role as Co-founder and Regional Director. My journey with IBCCS began in a university dormitory at the European University Cyprus, where I formed a friendship with Cezary, the co-founder of IBCCS.

Fast forward to today, I am honored to hold the position of Regional Director, overseeing the operations of our two offices in Georgia located in Tbilisi and Batumi. In this role, I manage a team of 23 dedicated professionals. Our focus is on providing top-notch services to our clients, and I take pride in contributing to the growth and success of IBCCS in the region.

As we continue to expand our presence and enhance our services, I look forward to leading our team toward continued success. I wish you and your readers a prosperous New Year, and I’m excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for IBCCS Georgia.

2. What led to the establishment of IBCCS Georgia, and what is the company’s mission and focus in the market?

The establishment of IBCCS Georgia was driven by a recognition of the strategic advantages that Georgia offers as a business destination. Situated at the crossroads of the EU and Asia, Georgia provides an exceptional geographical location for delivering services globally. Moreover, the country boasts a business-friendly environment, making it one of the easiest locations for opening, administering, and managing business activities.

From a taxation perspective, Georgia stands out as one of the best in the world, offering favorable conditions without being classified as an offshore jurisdiction. As you might already know, Georgia uses the so-called Estonian model of Taxation, where the companies do not pay any corporate taxes until the time they distribute the dividends. What’s particularly exciting is that Georgia is still relatively undiscovered on the corporate structuring map, presenting unique opportunities for businesses seeking an advantageous location.

Our mission at IBCCS Georgia is to serve as business ambassadors for the country and the best advisors by giving the most outstanding solutions for businesses and individuals. We aim to showcase and leverage the myriad advantages that Georgia offers, be it in terms of location, jurisdiction, or tax benefits.

By doing so, we aspire to position Georgia as a prime choice for businesses looking to thrive in a dynamic and supportive environment. We are committed to facilitating the success of our clients by harnessing the full potential of what Georgia has to offer, which will increase the efficiency of the business.

3. Can you share some key achievements or milestones IBCCS Georgia has achieved under your leadership?

I’m immensely proud of the remarkable journey that IBCCS Georgia has undertaken since its inception in 2018. When we started, it was essentially a one-person show, just me and a laptop in a coworking space. Fast forward to today, and we’ve achieved significant milestones under my leadership.

We now proudly own two well-established offices, one in Tbilisi and the other in Batumi. What’s truly remarkable is our growth in terms of client portfolio — we’ve had the privilege of serving over 80 clients, including some internationally renowned companies. It’s a testament to the trust they’ve placed in us and the quality of services we provide.

Our team, which began as a solo endeavor, has now expanded to include 23 talented and dedicated members. And we’re not stopping there; we’re still in a phase of continuous growth. Our comprehensive suite of services encompasses full legal, tax, accounting, and administration support, ensuring that our clients receive holistic and top-notch assistance.

These achievements signify not only the growth of IBCCS Georgia but also the success stories we’ve been able to create alongside our clients. I look forward to further milestones as we continue to expand our services and make a positive impact in the business landscape.

Absolutely, attending InvestPro Poland in Warsaw 2023 provided unique insights that are particularly relevant to both my role and the industry at large. One notable aspect was the distinct position we held as the only firm representing Georgia at the event. This exclusivity not only underscored our commitment to international collaboration but also allowed us to showcase the distinctive advantages of our services in a global context.

The discussions and trends that emerged during the event were particularly insightful. Being the sole representative from Georgia, we had the opportunity to share and learn about the economic and regulatory landscape of our region. The event facilitated meaningful conversations about emerging markets, cross-border collaborations, and the evolving nature of financial and investment strategies.

In the broader industry context, the event shed light on global trends, regulatory shifts, and the increasing importance of international partnerships. Throughout my career, particularly in my current role at IBCCS, honesty has been a cornerstone of our approach. We pride ourselves on being transparent and forthright in our dealings, which has formed a strong foundation for trust with our clients.

Sales, of course, are at the heart of our business. The ability to understand the needs of our clients and effectively communicate how our services can address those needs has been key. This ties directly into our strategic planning, aligning our efforts with broader organizational goals.

Lastly, the emphasis on marketing strategy has been pivotal. Developing and implementing effective marketing strategies has not only increased our visibility but has also positioned IBCCS as a trusted partner in the industry.

In essence, while these skills have been crucial in my career, it’s the commitment to honesty that has underpinned every negotiation, business plan, sale, strategic initiative, and marketing effort. It’s this commitment that has contributed significantly to the success and reputation of IBCCS.

7. How has your MBA in Business Administration from European University Cyprus contributed to your professional journey?

My MBA in Business Administration from the European University Cyprus has been an integral part of my professional journey, serving as the very foundation upon which the life of IBCCS began. Beyond the academic knowledge and education that I gained, the MBA program played a pivotal role in shaping my independence, especially as I navigated the challenges of being in another country alone.

The program provided a comprehensive understanding of business principles, strategic management, and leadership, offering me the tools and insights needed to embark on entrepreneurial ventures. More than that, it was at the European University Cyprus that I formed lasting connections, cultivating friendships that have transcended into valuable business partnerships.

The experiences and challenges faced during my MBA studies not only enriched my academic knowledge but also fostered personal growth and resilience. The international environment of the university exposed me to diverse perspectives and cultures, preparing me for the global nature of business.

In essence, my MBA from the European University Cyprus goes beyond being a qualification—it represents a transformative period that not only equipped me with the skills needed for the business world but also laid the groundwork for the collaborative and innovative spirit that defines IBCCS today.

8. In your opinion, what are the current challenges and opportunities in the marketing and advertising industry, particularly in Georgia?

In my opinion, the marketing and advertising landscape in Georgia presents a fascinating mix of challenges and opportunities. Georgia is gaining recognition for its vibrant creative agencies, earning accolades through prestigious ad awards. This speaks to the growing reputation of Georgian agencies for their innovative and imaginative work.

One notable strength lies in the creativity that the Georgian market brings to the table. The ability to generate unique and compelling ideas is a key advantage, setting the stage for impactful advertising campaigns. This creativity extends not only to the conceptualization phase but also to the production, particularly in the realm of video content.

Moreover, the cost-effectiveness of operations in Georgia is a significant opportunity. The competitive costs in the country, coupled with the high level of creativity, make it an attractive destination for businesses looking to invest in marketing and advertising services.

However, challenges do exist. The industry needs to continually adapt to evolving consumer behaviors and technological advancements. The rise of digital platforms and changing consumer preferences necessitate a dynamic approach to marketing strategies.

In essence, the marketing and advertising industry in Georgia is poised for growth, leveraging its creative prowess and cost advantages. Navigating the challenges and staying abreast of industry trends will be crucial for sustaining this upward trajectory.

9. How do you stay updated on industry trends and continuously develop your skills as a professional in the marketing and advertising field?

Staying at the forefront of industry trends in marketing and advertising is a commitment that I take seriously. One of the primary ways I ensure this is through active participation in international events and training sessions, both as a participant and occasionally as a speaker. These platforms provide invaluable insights into emerging trends, cutting-edge technologies, and innovative strategies employed by industry leaders worldwide.

In addition to being a keen observer, I’ve also taken on the role of a mentor and trainer for startups in Georgia. This not only allows me to contribute to the local entrepreneurial ecosystem but also necessitates continuous learning. Working with startups introduces me to diverse challenges and keeps me engaged with a wide range of perspectives, prompting me to stay updated on the latest developments.

Furthermore, I maintain a consistent habit of reading industry materials, articles, and publications. This habit helps me stay informed about market dynamics, consumer behaviors, and the evolving landscape of digital marketing. Continuous learning and adaptation are crucial in our fast-paced industry, and I find that these practices keep my skills sharp and relevant.
