The education sessions were my favorite. I flew in early so I could attend some on Monday, but I wasn’t able to make it to all the ones I signed up for.

Well, Amex Fran for was an excellent opportunity to make quality contacts and do business. Also, it was a great opportunity to reconnect with industry friends. what I loved the most was the organization from arrival at the airport to transfer to the location of hotels, the exhibition complex, and finally, when they took care of my luggage and put it on the onto the airline. All that from the from the venue really made this very successful and special trip for me.

This was my first time attending IMEX. It was a bit overwhelming, but overall a good experience!

What did you like best about the event?

Being able to connect with so many suppliers at one time. I was able to get so much done in only 2 - 3 days.

What could the organizers do to improve the event?

Communication. I was a hosted buyer and was very confused on a lot of the logistics. Additionally, there was no information about the shuttle on the app. The app was clunky.

What did you like best about the event?

The education sessions were my favorite. I flew in early so I could attend some on Monday, but I wasn’t able to make it to all the ones I signed up for.

What could the organizers do to improve the event?

General Service Contractor isn’t an option for buyers to select when listing the service types they’re seeking. Separating GSCs into their own category would reduce buyer confusion and save calendar time that’s currently spent explaining that we’re not the type of business they’re looking for. Having Monday evening or even part of the day available for vendors to meet and greet would be amazing. There were a few city representatives and businesses I wanted to introduce myself to in person. Face-to-face conversations are so much better for an introduction than a cold email.
