"A valuable platform for industry conversations."

Sydney Build Expo brought together an impressive mix of professionals across construction, architecture and design — all engaged in conversations that matter. What I valued most was the focus on purposeful design and sustainable thinking across the board. A highlight for me was being part of an industry panel with Adrian Ramsay and Todd Parris, where we explored how adaptive reuse, sustainability and even Feng Shui can help shape more conscious, future-ready spaces.

"I had the opportunity to speak on the panel “Data Analytics & AI in Construction – Bridging the Gap Between Myths & Reality,” covering trust in AI, accessibility, and workforce impact. "

The panel I spoke on gave me a valuable chance to exchange ideas with industry peers and reflect on how tech can practically support project delivery. Great energy, relevant insights, and plenty of real-world takeaways. Other than that, I also liked: 1. Practical and Real-World Discussions 2. High-Quality Audience Engagement 3. Meaningful Networking Opportunities 4. Solutions Focused on Project Needs 5. Maturing Industry Mindset Around AI & Data 6. Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration 7. Exposure to Innovative Yet Usable Tech 8. Energy and Momentum Across the Sector

Valuable Dialogue That Deserves a Wider Audience
What did you like best about the event?
A truly rewarding experience; thoughtful, well-organised, and genuinely impactful. Grateful to have been part of it.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
One key suggestion for future events: consider video recording the panel discussions. These conversations are rich in insight, and recording them would allow speakers to reflect, share, and amplify the impact of their contributions. It feels like a missed opportunity not to capture such valuable content.

Massive event!
What did you like best about the event?
A great opportunity to catch up with numerous people from the industry, and I enjoyed participating in the panel.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
With the different levels and so many stages, it was hard to find your way around. More maps and directional signage in the foyers would be helpful.

What could the organizers do to improve the event?
A few challenges with parking made arrival tricky (parking closed at ICC and almost full at Harbourside) a clearer update system or real-time alerts would help ease the experience for both exhibitors and attendees.
