Bio

I’m an experienced cyber security professional with over 15 years of experience leading and building cyber security teams. I take a collaborative and risk-based approach to delivering transformational cyber security change, working closely with stakeholders and executive management to influence cultural change. I’ve worked in leadership roles across critical infrastructure, oil & gas, transport and higher education. Prior to my recent roles I worked as an IT auditor, penetration tester and within governance, risk and compliance as a consultant. Aside from my University education, I hold the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP) Certifications, alongside a Diploma of Management, and I have attended the CAUDIT Leadership Institute and the Apple Inc. Emerging Leaders Program. I’m passionate about developing the next generation of cyber security professionals, working with the Adelaide ISACA Chapter, and regularly presenting at local and interstate events and conferences. I also sit on the Adelaide Joint Cyber Security Centre (JCSC) Advisory Group.
