Bio

Aaron is an experienced Cybersecurity and Threat Intelligence professional with rich experiences in both the private and public sectors. He is currently a Strategic Threat Advisor at Crowdstrike, and is primarily responsible for the Crowdstrike Intelligence business across the APAC and MENA regions. Prior to Crowdstrike, Aaron was an Intelligence Consultant at Recorded Future. In that role, he was responsible for the design and implementation of Threat Intelligence strategies and solutions for organisations encompassing Government Agencies, Banking & Finance, Critical Infrastructure, Healthcare, E-Commerce Enterprises, Telecommunications and Internet Service Providers across Asia-Pacific in Australia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand. Prior to joining the Cybersecurity industry, Aaron served 12 years of Active Duty in the Singapore Armed Forces as a Military Intelligence Officer. He served in multiple command appointments in classified Intelligence units, and garnered staff experience in the areas of strategic planning and policy development. In his penultimate tour of duty, Aaron was instrumental in establishing the Defence Cyber Organisation (DCO), which is akin to Singapore’s Cyber Command. Throughout his military service, Aaron demonstrated a strong track record of leading teams of diverse demographics, and building partnerships with international organisations, inter-government agencies, and the defence industry.
