Hi, I'm Adam! I am a hybrid Designer, 3D Creative Technologist and Software Developer. I am currently on the Emerging Technology Team at AWS as a Sr. Spatial Computing Solutions Architect. I am learning to architect and build applications that can scale to millions of users. I previously lead an applied research group at SHoP Architects, specifically focusing on AR/VR software development and adjacent emerging technologies. We build prototype applications using a variety of technology and then scale them. SHoP works on large scale commercial projects such as the YouTube HQ, the Uber HQ, and super tall skyscrapers. www.shoparc.com/work I love to connect and develop new combinations of technology to address root problems. I spend some of my time managing projects, some in Unity and Visual Studio building prototypes, and spend another chunk of time creating partnerships and collaborations with technology companies. I have built a range of applications for clients and projects around the world and have launched applications for both iOS and Android. I am a frequent speaker on the implications of VR/AR and emerging technologies, including large tech conferences and universities such as MIT. My applications have been nominated for awards, featured in museums, and written about in publications including the New York Times. Before my life in software development, I worked as a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Lead on several large scale commercial architecture projects. Most notably, I lead BIM strategy and coordination on the new GroupM/WPP Global Headquarters, in World Trade Center 3. I earned my Masters of Architecture from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. where I emphasized my studies in Design Technology. Outside of work I always have fun side projects going, mostly tinkering with various emerging technologies and consulting for a variety of companies. I'm a hardworking and passionate hybrid designer who loves to work with a team to push what is possible.
