I'm a senior C-suite executive and entrepreneur with significant experience in organisational transformation, board leadership and business growth gained within global digital media markets and consulting services. I have experience across all media platforms and in many markets including the US and EMEA. My career has been focused on the interactions between consumers and brands. Digital platforms are at the centre of this intersection and my ‘digital first’ experience extends to large-scale transformations and startups. Latterly I have used those transformation skills to advise global organisations (including HSBC, Chanel, Tesco and Facebook) how to build a workforce for the digital future. I have a true understanding of the lethargy that has held businesses back and then a birdseye view on how to transform and revolutionise brands that are yearning for the new, yet too slow to adopt/adapt. I'm a leader that thrives in disruptive environments, whether challenging the status quo or inspiring others to follow me in a new direction. My career has been built on three key beliefs. Firstly that people can do brilliant things if they are given the right support and challenge. Secondly, that leaders need to lead differently in different business situations and learn from those around them. Finally that business strategy is actually quite simple; fix what is broken in the short term; work out what makes your business special and then execute brilliantly, and then we are back to people again! I believe that business has a responsibility to help improve society and dedicate time to volunteer as a mentor, launched community programmes to support less advantaged young people with new digital skills and am a charity board trustee. I also believe that life is about more than work and have managed a youth rugby team for over 10 years and take great pleasure in connecting like minded people.
