Back in 2012, I created and launched Clip, a mobile payments company. Today Clip is the leading payments company in Mexico, enabling hundreds of thousands of merchants to accept all payment options. Previously, I worked at PayPal, where I was responsible for Customer Engagement for LatAm and developing new money transfer services (patent pending). Before focusing on product, I launched PayPal Mexico. Prior to PayPal, I studied an MBA @ MIT’s Sloan School of Management. While at MIT, I specialized in Entrepreneurship (mobile, payments, media and commerce) and Economics of Information. Before studying my Master’s, I made a living by raising and launching The Carlyle's Group first Mexico buyout fund. Right before Carlyle, I was the Chief of Staff to the CEO in one of Mexico’s largest conglomerates, Grupo Desc. My educational background is a mix of general management, economics, marketing, political science and finance. Although, I should have been a designer....
