Since founding Unifonic in 2006, Mr. Ahmed has been leading the transformation of Unifonic from a local SMS reseller based in Saudi Arabia to one of the fastest growing regional cloud communication provider.

Unifonic is the leading cloud communication platform for global emerging markets, we provide cloud-based communication tools to business customers and enable integration of text- and voice-based solutions via our powerful API platform. Unifonic provides cloud-based access to more than 720 mobile networks in 190 countries across 9 regional markets, with over 5,000 business customers such as companies like Careem, Dominos Pizza, Jarir Bookstore, HungerStation, and others. Unifonic investors include STV, RTF, Endeavor Catalyst, ELM, and Raed Ventures. Employing around 100 people and operating seven offices in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, Sudan, with further expansion plans across the MENA region.


Mr. Hamdan brings to the task his experience from a 15-years-career at Saudi ICT companies, where he worked in different technical and business roles.
