Bio

Akash is a co-founder of Looppanel (https://looppanel.com), where they are building user research software to help product and design teams easily record, organise and analyse data from user interviews. He's also a co-author of O'Reilly's upcoming title, Advanced Analytics with PySpark. Earlier, he was a part of Entrepreneur First Bangalore’s second cohort (EF BA4) of 2020. Previously, he worked with data science and engineering teams of early stage startups (Redcarpet, SocialCops, Atlan) for 4 years. He is a 2016 pass out from NIT, Surat with an interest in Entrepreneurship, Software Development, Data Science/ML and Internet technologies. He had successfully completed the Google Summer of Code program twice. His open source code is available at https://github.com/analyticalmonk In addition to computing and AI, he's interested in philosophy, sustainable energy, neuroscience and genetics. He believes in an interdisciplinary approach and that the most pressing problems of the current era require a confluence of innovation and age-old ethics, such as hard-work and perseverance. A big fan of MOOCs and online learning, he has completed multiple courses across various platforms including Coursera, edX, etc. In his free time, he likes to write, listen to music and read about topics he cares for (technology, education, entrepreneurship, sports and pop culture).
