In that doing, Fanogroup_Namibia leverages opportunities, especially for youth to contribute to food security, create Employment and uplift the livelihoods of people in rural areas And Urban areas while meeting 17 SDGs of the United Nations. Akathingo have 6 year's banking experience, and 6 years of Practical business experience, including but not limited to Establishing and running a Horticultural program in his Village, Okashaningwa in Northern Namibia with a Shoestring budget - The Vegetables produced since the establishment have managed to compete for shelf at some of the big retailers in Namibia, and negotiating some of the off-takers agreements to supply the value Chains. He also Volunteered and continue to capacitate some of the major Stakeholder's in the Namibian Agricultural Value Chains to ensure Youths representation and creation of opportunities, with organizations like, Namibia Agricultural Union-NAU, Namibia Agricultural Board-NAB, Food And Agriculture - FAONamibia, Youth In Agriculture, Ministry of Youth and OHPA, since 2019. Akathingo is a Student of Economics (honors degree) from the University of Namibia - UNAM (2008 - 2011) before he dropped out (swapped Graduation) for a job in Banking.
