Bio

Alan is the head of the FinTech Infrastructure Office at the Monetary Authority of Singapore. He is responsible for developing Singapore’s digital financial infrastructure and the establishment of platforms for cross border financial connectivity. Alan develops strategies to foster responsible innovation in areas such as digital asset, central bank digital currency and embedded finance through the MAS regulatory sandbox. He leads industry wide initiatives such as Project Orchid, Guardian and Ubin+ to drive digital transformation across the financial industry. Prior to this, he held various leadership roles in the private sector including managing consulting and development teams across Asia Pacific.
