Alejandro Lammertyn is the Chief Digital and Information Officer in Tenaris. Tenaris is a leading supplier of tubes and related services for the world's energy industry and certain other industrial applications.With more than 30 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, Alejandro Lammertyn has a remarkable career in Tenaris. He started as a young professional in Siderca and became one of the key players in the creation of Tenaris through acquisitions and global reorganization. In 2002 he became the first Supply Chain responsible in Tenaris coordinating more than 1000 employees worldwide and redefining process, roles and responsibilities of the entire organization. From that moment onwards, at the age of 37, he became Member of the Tenaris Executive Committee.In the year 2010, Alejandro was a key component of the Regionalization of Tenaris becoming the first Head of the Eastern Hemisphere Region based in Dubai and covering from North Sea and Africa upto Japan. In the year 2013 he became the Head of Corporate Strategy.Since August 2020 he is the Head of Information Technology and sets the Digital Strategy of the Organization. Alejandro is an Industrial Engineer of the Instituto TecnolГіgico de Buenos Aires (ITBA) and obtained a M.S. in Management from MIT in 1998. He is a member of the Graduate advisory board of ITBA since 2017.
