Can you imagine how will the next billion devices connect to the Internet? How applications will be developed for them? How they will be managed? After years of research, we have an in-depth understanding of how this will happen - especially for Low-Power Wide-Area networks. We are bringing our knowledge and our know-how to the wide community. From 2010 to 2016 I was Associate Professor at the Graduate Engineering School TELECOM Bretagne. During this time, I have been working on research projects in the following areas: - LPWA (NB-IoT, Semtech LoRa, SIGFOX, IEEE 802.15.4k, Weightless-P) - architectures, Internet integration, IP, security. - Internet of Things (standardization, IPv6, 6LoWPAN, CoAP, NETCONF/RESTCONF/COOL, ...) - M2M architectures (ETSI M2M, OneM2M, IoTivity) The above works have lead to the project - Réseau Fabian - open network for your city and your FabLab. http://www.reseaufabian.fr/ . The first technology to use it is LoRa. - Smart Grid (Smart Metering, Neighborhood Area Networks and G3-PLC, Electrical Vehicle Recharging (V2G)) - Energy efficiency in Cellular Networks I was involved in the creation of one of the first MOOCs in France - Introduction to cellular networks ( https://web.archive.org/web/20131005234234/https://courses.mooc.telecom-bretagne.eu/course/reseaux-cellulaires-automne-2013/ ). I am also co-author of the MOOC ''Understanding 4G networks'' ( https://www.fun-mooc.fr/courses/MinesTelecom/04010S02/session02/about ).
