Circular Business Models | E-Commerce | Subscription | Customer Loyalty & Retention | Pre-Seed to Series B ๐Ÿš€ Alexandra is one of the UKโ€™s leading circular economy entrepreneurs. She has been named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list for Retail and E-Commerce, as one the Top 100 Women in Cycling by Cycling UK, a Top 50 Female Founders to Watch by Beauhurst and a Female Leader and Game-Changer by Women in FinTech. After leaving school prematurely at the age of 17, Alexandra embarked on a brief career in technology before founding Bike Club in 2016. Bike Club was born out of a love for cycling and an over-arching belief that the traditional model of ownership needed revolutionising. With over 38 million unused bikes in the UK alone, something needed to change. Through Bike Club over 140,000 parents throughout the UK and Germany now pay monthly for their childrens bikes. When the child grows out of it, they simply exchange for the next size up. Bike Club is an accredited B-Corp and has been named a Top 200 Female Powered Businesses and Top 10 Female Powered Companies by Growth in Valuation (2021). She's passionate about inclusivity and dreams of a world where everyone has equal opportunity; no matter their background, gender or ethnicity. Passion spaces: > products and services to better-serve families, specifically working parents ๐Ÿคนโ€โ™€๏ธ > micro-mobility and smart cities ๐Ÿšฒ๐Ÿ›ด๐Ÿƒ > the early years 0-5; fundamental stages of a childโ€™s growth, development and learning ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ฃ > FinTech; providing inclusive banking and financial products and services ๐Ÿšฒ Bike Club (founded in 2016, partial exit at Series B in 2022) There are over 38 million unused bikes in the UK. Of those, 12.5 million are kids bikes. Thatโ€™s why Alexandra created Bike Club. A better way to cycle; better for the environment, better for parents and better for children. Bike Club have revolutionised the traditional model of ownership, changing family cycling forever. With over $70million of funding and 70,000 bikes (last updated March 2023) they are now the largest micro mobility network in the UK - larger than Uber and Santander Cycles.
