Alexandre Alfonsi is a co-founder of Axonia Partners (www.axonia-partners.com), a private equity advisory and corporate finance firm, where he specializes in advising private equity teams and organizations on their fundraising and secondary transactions. Axonia Partners is currently the top adviser worldwide in Africa in terms of number of funds raised and teams advised. Alexandre also owns Alternal, a research and consulting firm focused on alternative investment managers. Alexandre is an active member of an informal network aimed at promoting entrepreneurship in France, advising budding entrepreneurs and sponsoring socially, economically and technologically innovative ideas. Prior to founding Alternal, Alexandre was a Partner at Triago, a placement agent raising funds for private equity funds. He was previously a co-founder and CFO of nFactory, an online content syndicator and aggregator, which was sold in 2001 to a large media group. Before that, Alexandre was with Morgan Stanley IBD in London, where he worked on M&A, public offering and LBO projects. Alexandre started his career with Mazars, a large international accounting and tax advisory firm, where he worked in Paris and in New York as a Senior Auditor for US subsidiaries of European companies.
