Bio

I'm very passionate about User Experience Research and how it helps design and deliver great digital product experiences. I'm the Co-Founder & CVO (Chief Visionary Officer, CEO until 2022) of UserZoom, the User Experience (UX) Insights Management company that helps businesses gather and manage the insights they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences. Since 2007, UserZoom has grown from a bootstrapped firm out of Spain into a $100m ARR, global organization with Fortune 100 customers across the retail, e-commerce, healthcare, financial services, technology, and insurance industries. We offer a combination of software and services that enable businesses to manage the gathering, analysis and sharing of user and customer experience insights across all digital touchpoints to drive measurable business performance. UserZoom has raised $150m and is backed by Silicon Valley investors Sunstone Capital and Owl Rock. In Q1’22 Thoma Bravo acquired a majority share at an $800m valuation. I began my career in Spain in the mid 1990s working in technology, where I gained his first experience in digital marketing, website design, usability testing and UX research. Before founding UserZoom in 2007, I worked for companies including Dell Technologies, Icon Medialab (now DigitasLBi), and Proxicom’s venture in Spain (now Indra). In my leadership role at UserZoom, I manage the overall health, growth and performance of the business, working alongside UserZoom’s leadership team. I'm a featured speaker at industry conferences, where I hope to inspire the next generation of UX professionals and Product Managers to create innovative products and apply best practices in their work. I hold a BA in International Business from San Jose State University, where I played Div. I Varsity Basketball after getting an athletic scholarship. I've also been granted three technology patents by the USPTO. Still an avid basketball player, I live in Los Gatos, CA, with my wife, son and daughter.
