Bio

Non-stop learner looking for constant innovation. I am a highly proactive and creative person. I can’t stand still, I am always looking for new challenges. I am really interested in new and disruptive technologies, such as blockchain, p2p networking, cryptography, quantum computing and quantum information, that will lead to a paradigm twist in the way we work, live and interact with people and machines. I am currently proud to be working as Research Engineer at Protocol Labs. I am part of the ResNetLab doing long-term research around networking and p2p technologies. I have experience leading technical teams, and working with Go, NodeJS, Python, Rust, Ethereum, Smart Contracts, Hyperledger, and several open source projects. I contributed to the development of Alastria National Blockchain ecosystem's platform and other open source projects such as IPFS or libp2p. I am interested in a broad range of topics, from AI, blockchain and quantum computing, to finance and investments. I also love research and academia. I have always had an enormous predilection for entrepreneurship and the startup ecosystem. In my spare time I like thinking about innovative ways of solving people’s (and my own) problems and needs, trying to build potential business in the process. There has not been a successful achievement in this department… yet, but I have definitely had a lot of fun and learnt a lot in my attempts (and I will keep trying). I also collaborated with Wayra and Telefonica in the evaluation of potentially successful blockchain-based startups. Open source lover and defender. Avid book reader by design.
