I was given an incredible opportunity to join the world of people operations and I haven't looked back since.
Coming from a high-performance athletic background, jumping head-first into the fitness industry after graduate school was an easy decision as the industry fulfilled my passion for health and fitness as well as providing a challenge for my entrepreneurial spirit. Helping to run what became the fastest growing outdoor fitness company in the nation provided me with an intimate look on running a service-oriented business while catering to my aptitude for training, development, coaching, and leadership.
A few moves over the years as a (proud) military spouse have given my resume a bit of an atypical look, and yet, it's been nothing but an incredibly rewarding adventure. What I've learned is that no matter what state we live in my constant passion is focusing on the people I work with, supporting their employee journey, and building and supporting an environment where people can perform and thrive.
More specifically; I am an organizational health and development strategist always looking for ways to achieve greater effectiveness both as an individual and for the team. I am all about crafting unique, relevant, and cutting-edge learning and development solutions that provide truly impactful business results for all levels of an organization. I am a firm believer in the benefits of positive psychology and have faith in the research that connects the dots between an organization's health and the culture it fosters. I am increasingly into the science behind change management as well as using data to drive strategy. I welcome collaboration every step of the way and could always do with more team-oriented opportunities. I find it insanely gratifying to attract fabulous talent to join our company and I love pushing the boundaries on the status quo. I'm as much into the innovative, strategic, big brainstorming conversations as I am the minutia that comes with rolling out new programs or initiatives.
At the core, I am goal-oriented, creative, driven, and relentlessly passionate about increasing the capacity of what we can do as a team. I can't stop reading, I love to have fun (yes, even at work), and if I'm not in the office I'm out trail running with my dog.
I'm also a fan of networking so feel free to connect.
