As the global Executive Vice President, Crate & Barrel and Crate & Kids, Alicia is accountable across functions and stores for this home furnishings retailer with presence in 11 countries. Her passion lies in creating high performance teams and driving customer-centric thinking that fuels top and bottom line growth with sustainability as a pillar. Crate & Barrel has been welcomed into customers’ homes for 60 years, inspiring and serving customers and helping them build homes with purpose. She is honored to lead this business which contributes to major milestones in customer’s lives, from weddings to welcoming newborns to new homes. Since joining Crate and Barrel Holdings in 2013, Alicia has been a driving force behind record-setting brand growth, the shift to digital, and rapid customer development. She previously served as Chief Marketing Officer for Crate & Barrel/Kids, where she created a new Crate brand positioning and content strategy, built a collaborations pipeline, and restructured the teams to successfully drive a highly relevant, digital-first strategy. Prior to that, Alicia oversaw Merchandising, Marketing and Creative for Crate & Kids, orchestrating a complete turnaround beginning in 2019 that doubled the brand’s size. From 2012-2017, Alicia served as Vice President of Marketing at CB2 where she shifted early into digital marketing & analytics, significantly evolving all brand creative & activations and launching cutting edge brand and product collaborations including Kravitz Design and Goop. Alicia is a curious, compassionate leader and global citizen. She spent two years living in Paris, France with her family where she led strategic projects for Sheego, a German women’s retailer. Alicia also held various brand leadership positions for Mars Global Confections, Kraft Foods (now Mondelez International), and Gap Inc. Alicia holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Science from Miami University. She is a member of Founders' Board of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, the Google Retail Advisory Council, and Marketers That Matter. In her free time she loves to travel, hang out with her kids, and explore fashion and museums.
