Currently, Alisha Golden is the Investment Lead for Techstars Toronto. Prior to joining Techstars, Alisha founded Plan A, a pre-accelerator for women-led start-ups across Sub-Saharan Africa. Golden is a catalyst for entrepreneurial transcendence, bridging start-ups and investments across the continent and the global diaspora for collaboration and opportunity. Alisha believes catalyzing underrepresented and underserved entrepreneurs in Africa, can unlock a new narrative across the diaspora, inspire collaboration between the continent and the diaspora, and ignite an emerging wave of leaders globally. Alisha has worked across North America, Europe, and Africa with leading firms such as Pivotal Ventures, The World Economic Forum, Verizon Media, NASA, Second Muse, NBCUniversal, KIND, The Pollination Project, Mashable, The UN Foundation, ChooseATL, and Airbnb.
