VENTURE CAPITAL INVESTOR / FINTECH FOUNDER/ BOARD ADVISOR/ MENTOR After a start in strategy consulting, I've been a tech start-up founder/ leader, venture capital investor, board advisor and mentor. My passion is to support unstoppable startup founders in building game changing businesses. Over my career I co-founded 3 tech companies. I invested in over 20 startups, mostly fintech, in Europe, Africa, Asia and the US, as a venture capital, or angel investor. I was non-exec Board member at > 15 early stage companies. Since leaving Velocity Capital Fintech Ventures in 2020 I've taken a sabbatical to focus on family, some personal development, a.o. training to be meditation teacher and coach, and mentoring tech founders. In March 2022 I joined Techstars as their Managing Director for the ABN AMRO + Techstars ‘Future of Finance’ Accelerator. In 2022 the Accelerator will have a specific focus on founders building companies at the intersection of Fintech with Sustainability and with Digital Assets. These are all areas that I’m truly passionate about. I’m very excited to support these founders in realizing their dreams and pay forward some of the amazing help I was given over my life and career.
