Several years ago, I learned about the heart-wrenching cases of children as young as nine years old resorting to suicide and self-harm in refugee camps. Deeply moved by this tragedy, I decided that I could no longer stand idly by. This realization marked the beginning of my mission to provide accessible therapeutic support to vulnerable populations using virtual reality and mobile phones. I am the proud founder of Studio Bahia, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to offering virtual reality therapy, treatments, and training around the world. Our passionate and skilled team includes clinical psychologists, designers, and health specialists who share the common goal of making a meaningful difference in people's lives. My diverse background has played a significant role in shaping my worldview; I have had the privilege of growing up in 10 different countries and have backpacked 80 countries. This wealth of cultural experiences has fueled my passion for creating a unique aesthetic philosophy for worldbuilding, which I am currently developing as part of my PhD dissertation.
