I am a founder in Striim, a Goldman Sachs Growth, Intel, Atlantic Bridge & Summit Partners backed startup that addresses cloud data transformation through real-time automated data integration and data movement. Capturing and Delivering 600 Million to 40 Billion real time events a day to the cloud for credit card events, package tracking and logistics, retail, and medical records is typical for Striim. STRiiM helps enterprise database/BI/ELT/EDW-Hadoop/Kafka teams with data ingestion, big data & cloud integration, data migration, operational intelligence & in-flight data visualization. I am responsible for overall product development & strategy. Previously, I was head of Oracle's Data Integration product portfolio, strategy, direction and enablement for all DI products including key products in the middleware/db stack such as Oracle GoldenGate (Replication, HA), and ODI (ELT, ETL). In this role, I spent my time internally with software development teams on product development, and externally to communicate Oracle's Data Integration vision, product strategy/roadmap, as well as leading the Center of Excellence product team that architected mission critical, strategic, scalable data management solutions worldwide. Before Oracle's acquisition of GoldenGate, I had overall responsibility for GG's technology solutions (CTO role). Working with product development, product management, marketing, sales, customers, and academia to develop GG's Transactional Data Management platform and vision. Previously had over 10 years of systems development experience at Oracle in the recovery dev group. Designed and developed kernel features in Oracle db (Releases 8i, 9i & 10g,11) primarily focusing in Backup & Recovery, Data transport and high speed Cross Platform data conversion, movement to transport db objects across Oracle db's running on heterogenous platforms at file copy speeds. Expertise and Interests in High availability, db Media Recovery, Replication, Streaming, Real-time Data Integration, Active Data Warehousing, and Disaster recovery areas.
