Deeply involved in the development, testing, and planning of the NMLS since the system launch. Extensive state licensing experience and a former NMLS system administrator with experience with all aspects of the system including application submissions, checklist review, transitioning existing licenses onto the system, amendments, Advance Change Notices, system reporting to ensure compliance with regulator requests, disclosure issues, proper document upload, and the Mortgage Call Report. Extensive experience with the S.A.F.E. Act for mortgage lenders, brokers and servicers, and other mortgage industry participants; with consumer and commercial finance licensing regulations; and with review of applicability of money services business licensing to emerging FinTech industries offering virtual currency products.
