Bio

I've returned my focus to my Carbon Credit roots that is a journey I started in 2001. I've been told that it makes me one of the most experienced in Carbon Credit generation although I've no proof of that. I've developed and used complex measurement and financial models for renewable and combined renewable/traditional energy projects valued $0.1 MM to $1,000 MM to address carbon reduction goals resulting in recommendations to stakeholders and investors and follow on action to achieve reductions. I've direct experience in carbon reduction planning, measurement and verification in the commercial institutional building, transportation, district energy, and carbon neutral combined heat and power sectors. I've written more than 80 Carbon Plans, working with technology providers, financiers, governments, government regulators, the CSA and CE. I've worked projects on every continent (except Antarctica) and have focused more recently in North America and Europe on sustainability, energy efficiency and carbon reduction projects, performing financial analysis, measurement, monitoring, generation of carbon credits and verification activities. I've performed large scale offset projects through voluntary and compliance markets. I'm a regular speaker at conferences and on the radio where I talk about energy efficiency, the economics of renewables, and implementation of physical and financial resilience tools to address risks associated with Carbon Reduction Activities. I'm currently advising carbon reducing technology companies and governments with stellar prospects to change the world. In parallel I've been formally trained to lead and I lead meditation groups to help people in general and in other cases specifically to assist high performing people and organizations to open up to alternative ways to shift and grow their professions as the business climate around them changes so that they do not get left behind.
