Bio

I am a retired professional England rugby union player, having played the game I love, since I was 6 years old, & going on to playing professionally for 16 years, winning the World Cup in 2003, & playing in the final of RWC 2007. Awarded an MBE for services to rugby in 2004. I am now Director & Shareholder of N2S, passionate about Sustainability. Our vision is to be the sustainable IT company, our clients not wasting any hardware. Our new sustainable dashboard supports our clients UN Sustainable Goals, a real niche in our industry. We care about sustainability in IT & our passion means we lead from the front. We form a connected & trusted supply chain, whether Workplace, UC, Data Centre or Networking transformations providing Installation, Decommissioning, excess stock purchase, trade in's & Recycling. We are also CAS-S certified to shred official & secret level data on HDDs & are a Blancco licensed user for erasure of sensitive data. We own our own logistics & warehousing so as to be agile & secure for our partners/clients, & employ 80+ staff. We are a growing business with our key values being, Trust, Honesty, Openeness & Respect within our organisation. Throughout my playing career I have always enjoyed 'giving back' to the Sport that I love and have been proud to support some wonderful rugby charities as well as speak at various events & clubs. I am ambassador to the Wooden Spoon, & Patron to the School of Hard Knocks charity from the Sky Sports series, in its tenth year in 2018. I had spent 3 years as a trustee & became a Patron in 2016. I am committed to support both charities in changing people's lives for the good. My other endeavours have been to invest & support in my best friend's film ''A Hundred Streets''! There is a rugby element to this incredible film, I am immensely proud of being part of the journey from start to finish. In 2020, it was confirmed we broke the world record for the longest game of rugby between the 2 rugby charities I hold so close to my heart! It was a long 30+ hours! & not my final game just yet! Legends rugby with Wasps & England raise incredible sums for Restart rugby & other players that need our support.
