Andrew Young is an executive engineer with more than 28 years of experience spanning all aspects of utility scale wind and solar power from concept to completion including strategic planning, business and project development, EPC and financing resulting in more than 4,000 MW installed across more than 25 projects operating in 12 states and Canada. Experience launching renewable start-ups for both private-equity backed, and large, publicly-traded US and European parents. Strong track record in business development and M&A, closing dozens of diverse transactions from $5M to $360M. Built and managed high-performing, cross-functional teams across multiple geographies and disciplines to bring projects from launch to successful completion as well as to optimize technical and commercial operational performance of projects and business platforms.
