I am an optical networking professional, working with global technology giants in helping power their internet capabilities. I provide solutions to very complex and specific customer network requirements and work with internal stakeholders globally to realize the same. I began my career working as a Systems Engineer, designing optical networks using network planning tools, delivering pre-sales support by acting as a liaison between engineering, sales, and product management. As part of the role, I also conducted product trainings and demos for sales and partners as well as provided technical responses to RFPs. Following this, I moved into a product management role for DCI and subsea markets, where I manage product lifecycle activities, define competitive and GTM strategy, provide network solutions, and represent Cisco in international conferences showcasing product portfolios and customer meetings. Over the course of my career, I have gained experience with a variety of aspects of: Coherent optical systems /Metro, long haul, and subsea networks / ROADM-Contentionless, Colorless, directionless / EDFA and Raman amplifier technologies / Open cables /Optical line systems.
