Angela Popplewell is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder at 100cameras, a nonprofit organization that equips youth worldwide with tools to process and tell their experiences, impacting how they view themselves and their role in their community. The 100cameras custom curriculum improves emotional intelligence, well-being, resilience, and community-building skills. Photography becomes a new access to self-expression, connection, and youth experiencing themselves as leaders. The 100cameras program platform is designed to be inclusive, accessible, and educational and has options available that work in partnership with local organizations or with youth individually. Since her appointment as CEO in 2014, Angela has been the driving force behind an impressive expansion of the organization's impact. By developing a scalable Extensive Program platform that provides curriculum training and resources to local teachers and partner organizations worldwide, as well as launching an online workshop available to youth and educators globally, over 31,000 young people have had access to the tools they need to process and express their stories, ultimately changing their self-perception and role in their community. Angela has been at the forefront of forging meaningful partnerships with renowned leaders, including Apple, ViacomCBS, Fujifilm, Adobe, Framebridge, Joby, and the Whole Foods' Foundation, among others. She is a visionary who excels in developing, listening, building, scaling, and creating impact, working collaboratively alongside local organizations, educators, youth, team members, and supporters. As CEO, Angela's responsibilities include developing strategies and goals that align with the organization's vision. She works closely with the Board of Directors, Advisory Board, and Board of Creatives to cultivate new members and oversee the organization's programs' strategy and growth. She is also responsible for fundraising and events, as well as Development, which includes all brand and corporate sponsorships and major donors. Angela manages a dedicated team, overseeing their roles and responsibilities while also ensuring the smooth operation of the organization as a whole.
