For just over a decade, I have worked in tech. The common thread has been my steadfast belief that tech can be a force for good — it can serve us all if we get it right. To do that, I believe we need: - a workforce that represents the society we live in. - accessible technical education. - multiple routes to capital. We need those closest to the problems to solve and build for them — not just those with the privilege to take on risk. - a culture of inclusion across industry. - prioritisation of impact. - More versions of what success means and looks like. - Multiple routes to careers in tech. Trying to find the sweet spot where impact, tech and capital intersect. I was awarded an MBE in the King's 2023 New Year's honours for services to diversity in tech, I'm a Forbes 30 under 30 honouree and am listed in the Financial Times' 100 most influential BAME leaders in tech.
