I am an independent Web3 marketing and customer experience executive based in Hong Kong and provide brand management, B2C and B2B marketing and communication expertise to companies, NFT creators and founders in APAC. I operate under Alt Key Theory (AKT), a company that I set up in 2016 after decades of international experience with leading media and technology brands - WSJ/Dow Jones, CNN International/Turner, MSN, and BBC. I specialise in full-circle customer experience management using a crypto-native lens, from building brand reputation, community first product marketing, and advocacy with the goal of increasing the customer lifetime value for businesses. My work with clients includes strategic campaign planning, marketing channel curation, content marketing, brand asset creation, digital and social media campaigns, partnerships, and sponsorship development. I am an advocate for great brand storytelling that positively influences customers, drives sales, and business profitability. I am a self taught blockchain researcher and a DeMar (Decentralised Marketing) evangelist, creating frameworks to bridge the business-world to crypto, where brands intersect with NFT's and smart contracts. I write and publish a monthly newsletter on substack that provides insights and use-cases into the future of marketing powered by Web3. I am passionate about the potential of blockchain to transform traditional systems and processes, empower communities such as content creators, drive fan-culture, reward and incentivise consumers in crypto native ways. I believe in finding personal growth and satisfaction through uplifting others - in particular women and entrepreneurs. I am a Hong Kong Cyberport Advisory Group member, responsible for vetting startups for the government funded incubator program. I also advise, train and mentor entrepreneurs on marketing and investor pitches. I am an alumni mentor with The Women's Foundation (TWF) in Hong Kong (2018-19 cohort).
