I am a Risk Executive with a 20 year career designing and implementing risk programs for dozens of organizations across multiple industries and geographies (NY, SF, DC, Sydney). As a Partner at KPMG, I led the FinTech practice and tailored risk approaches ranging from larger entities (Top 10 Banks, DoD, FBI, DEA) to VC backed start-ups. At Uber, I led the Global Finance Risk team, growing it from 5 to 35 in the first year, and expanding capabilities to include product risk, engineering risk, and core financial risk. I am currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer at LendingClub responsible for overseeing multiple risk disciplines, compliance, and security. I take pride in being known as a funny, energetic, and pragmatic leader. One of my favorite principles to employ (and quote!) is Occam’s razor- taking unnecessary complexity out of problem solving. I have a healthy dose of wanderlust and constant curiosity which has led me to live and work in 6 different cities across the US and internationally.
