A frontend developer, working towards making the web more accessible, one website at a time. Around 9.5 years of frontend development experience focused on creating responsive, accessible, and performant websites using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React JS, and Next JS. Have led teams of 4 frontend developers as technology lead, and my responsibilities include: coding, code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, design and technical discussions with the team, analyzing POCs, estimating tasks, mentoring new joiners, etc. I thrive in a workplace where everyone is treated respectfully and everyone's ideas are valued and their efforts are appreciated. And, I always work towards creating such a working environment in all capacities. Launched a couple of open-source educative websites to spread awareness around web accessibility. As an accessibility advocate, I always look for solutions to make the web a more inclusive and accessible place for everyone. I have been sharing my experience and learning about accessibility and coding best practices through conferences, meetups, and technical articles. I code to make a difference in the world and use tech for good because coding has huge power and with great power comes great responsibilities. 🙌 I love enabling people to explore their potential. Mentoring is one of the things people say I am good at and I am currently mentoring at the road to GDE program and at WDA Europe.
