First and foremost, I love people! People that runs businesses and has creative ideas that moves the world forward. I believe in the three largest forces in the world that are all accelerating; The Market (Globalization), Climate (Mother Nature) and Moore’s law (Technology) As the Project Manager Startups at Invest Stockholm, the official business and investment promotion agency of the City of Stockholm, I have the privilege to work closely, both strategically and operatively, with stakeholders of the City´s vibrant tech ecosystem and start-up scene. My goal is to get more female entrepreneurs in the City of Stockholm and a more diverse and inclusive tech scene, give more visibility for the fantastic creative people of Stockholm and to see as many people as possible fulfill their entrepreneurial dream in the City. Prior joining Invest Stockholm, I held different positions in Business Development, Marketing & Sales at larger US Companies, including EMI Music Publishing, Thomson and PR Newswire. I was an elected politician on Stockholm City Council between 2006 and 2013 but I’m not longer active in politics. A mother of three and an entrepreneur at heart, I also run a home decoration company, Ariane Stockholm (prior Dandeliane), with products that I design in my spare time.
