Bio

Arkan is a digital assets specialist working both in traditional and decentralized finance. He is a co-founder of TóróNet, a layer-1 blockchain infrastructure designed to provide the tools and frameworks to address real world problems at scale. TóróNet's unique design and features enable things like the ability to assign roles to users at the blockchain level, customizeable transaction fees, interoperability and cross-project collaborations. Arkan is the co-director of the first university program for professionals in Switzerland, that specializes in the financial applications of blockchain. He is currently co-chair of the Western Chapter of Crypto Valley Association where he seeks to further develop the Swiss ecosystem. Arkan serves as an advisor to projects developping meaningful use cases of blockchain technology. In his free time, Arkan likes rock climbing and spending time with his family and dogs.
