Aruna currently heads Capgemini’s business in Canada and Latin America. She is a member of the Capgemini Group Executive Committee and has held several global leadership positions in Capgemini including CEO Capgemini India, CEO Business Services and Head of Asia-Pacific and Latin America. Aruna joined Capgemini in early 2000 and was part of the core team that initiated and set up the offshore capabilities. She is a member of the supervisory board of Compagnie Générale des Établissements Michelin SCA (Michelin Group). Past governance positions include Chairperson of the Board of Governors of the National Institute of Technology Calicut, Independent Director of SBI Capital Markets and member of the Executive Council of Nasscom. Aruna was honoured as the Most Powerful Woman in India by India’s leading business magazine, Business Today, in its eighth annual list, and is also ranked 4th in the List of 50 Most Powerful Indian Women by Fortune India magazine.
