When I was 13, I got a B- on an assignment in English class, my best subject. Now, for any normal person, this would not be the end of the world. But for a teenage overachiever, a B- was doomsday. The teacher was offering extra credit to anyone who submitted a poem for this national contest, so I wrote something quickly the night before the deadline, handed it in, and waited for this horrific blemish to be eradicated from my otherwise perfect grades. And that’s the story of how I ended up in the top 10 of a nationwide writing contest and unintentionally became a published poetry author before I could even drive. If you’ve read this far, congrats. You’ve just experienced first-hand the power a story has to draw you in and make you want to know more. Without even realizing it, you’ve also just learned a fair amount about me. With one little story, you now know that I’m the type of person who won't settle for 'good' instead of 'great.' You know that writing is a talent of mine and is something I’ve been passionate about from an early age. And now you also know that I’m great at coming up with creative ideas on the fly, even when the pressure is on. The phenomenon you’ve just experienced is exactly what I do every day in my role as Account Manager at Zoodikers Consulting: helping businesses connect with their stakeholders and get their messages across through great stories. I work directly with our clients to pinpoint their goals and identify their target audiences, and then I engage them through great blogs and other written content, social media, web copy, and more. Through our subsidiary company AI in Business, I help tell the story of how artificial intelligence is reshaping the professional world today and the impact this will have on the future. When I'm not working, I enjoy baking, exercising (mostly to offset the baking), mentoring, finding new hiking trails, and curating my many playlists. That’s my story, and I’d love to help you tell yours. Feel free to connect if you’d like to discuss how our team at Zoodikers and AI in Business can help you, or if you just want to hear more tales about the crazy situations I’ve accidentally stumbled into. (There’s a pretty good one about the time I unintentionally created a popular type of chewing gum!) Please note I am not open to headhunting requests at this time. I look forward to chatting with you!
