As a veterinarian-scientist at the intersection of animal biology and human health, I see what others miss. I see opportunity in the intersection of genomics and emerging model species to improve health for all species, including humans. The company I co-founded, Fauna Bio, is taking insights from a model of hibernation into new treatments for unmet needs in humans and animals.
