Astha is a digital-first marketer. She aspires to be a leader who doesn’t just do 'digital marketing' but someone who 'scales a business in a digital age'. She has always been obsessed with marrying marketing, data science and rapid experimentation to impact business metrics. Astha is a dynamic, hands-on marketer whose has received various awards for her contributions to the industry such as: (1) The Top 50 people in the APAC Digital Industry (The Drum) (2)Top Digital Marketing Experts and Influencers (Inbassador) (3) World's 100 Smartest Digital Marketing Leaders (World Marketing Congress) (4) Young Achiever's Award (5) Digital Marketing Thought Leaders to follow in 2020 (Digital Branding Institute) Astha is currently focused on honing her data and measurement skills as a Marketing Science Expert at Facebook. Most recently, she was a performance marketer in the regional Uber APAC team where she scaled digital channels to acquire new drivers and riders across the entire funnel. In her previous role, she was part of Skyscanner's APAC Growth Marketing team where she worked across different growth specialisations including SEO, Paid Advertising and Country Marketing. She also had the opportunity to do a few stints at LinkedIn, Google (Google Student Ambassador) and Ogilvy&Mather. Astha is currently the founder and president of the SMU Marketing Alumni Group that aims to connect marketing alumni with each other and to the wider industry. Astha is also the founder of mooketing.com, a marketing publication that is read in over 120 countries.
