My greatest passion is tied to moving people and shifting paradigms. In a transparent world a strong reputation can only sustain, with the right organisational culture. Leaders who walk the talk -driven by a clear vision and strong values- will engage diverse stakeholders to progress together and -as a result- grow. It's not reputation management that determines what customers think. In a connected world, it's the core of a company and it's intentions that reflect upon the image of an organization and it's attractiveness as an employer (of choice). Investing in a company's culture and identity, has become a strategic investment that contributes to the bottomline. Because only in an inclusive environment, people dare to share and feel empowered to realise their full potential. Hiring diverse is one thing, ensuring this diversity 'speaks up' in a regular staff meeting, is something else. Key is to create a culture where people feel respected. A culture that embraces our differences and has shared, clear goals that all can contribute to. Only than, you have the benefit of high performing, diverse teams. Only than, employees become ambassadors of a brand. Internally and externally. Top down and bottom up. Diversity is not an HR thing nor is it about women or people with purple earrings. It's about how we -as unique individuals- can be our best self and by doing so, inspire others to do the same to create high performing organisations that can truly help the world move forward.
