Currently a Senior Consultant in the State and Local Government practice at Guidehouse, supporting State level clients in disaster recovery and grants management workstreams. Experienced in Federal, State and Local risk management, internal controls, process improvement, and grants management. Pursuing a Master's of Digital Arts and Sciences at University of Florida, where I develop innovative Human-Computer Interaction technologies in telepresence, mixed reality interfaces, and simulation training. As a public sector professional with more than 5 years of experience in Federal, State, and Local governance, I have served public offices and clients in a variety of roles- legislative aide, government consultant, risk advisory consultant, and policy analyst. I aim to push public sector practices forward with emerging technology. My research in Computer-Human Interaction is focused on remote collaboration, enhanced telepresence through augmented reality, and visualization of complex problems through virtual reality simulation. My research in augmented reality user interfaces for remote control of robots was recently published at ACM's Symposium on Virtual Reality Software and Technology 2021, and work I contributed to in collaboration with researchers at University of Illinois Chicago on professional applications of virtual reality was awarded ''Best Paper'' at conference. Currently engaged in cross-disciplinary medical research with the Medical XR Research Group, which I cofounded with students at Michigan State University.
