Bio

An open-minded, technically-versed self-made geek, specialising in open source & security, with a background in finance & economics, raised in French and English. I particularly enjoy positions where I can help bridge the gap between business and technology, with Free and Open Source Software my favourite, obvious environment to work in. I'm currently working at Red Hat on information and systems security, and on software supply chain security in particular. Prior to that i worked on helping the excellent confidential computing Enarx project get off the ground, and before that as subject matter expert on all things blockchain for the company. Earlier, i worked as an agile project manager, helping first run servers in production as part of a managed services team at LinkByNet then at eNovance, focusing on open source software, then helping manage and run cloud and other emerging tech (OpenStack, OpenShift) projects at red Hat. I have also been a full time activist with La Quadrature du Net, a Paris-based citizen advocacy group defending fundamental freedoms on the Internet and beyond, as well as the Internet itself as a tool and opportunity for democracy and freedom. Advocacy work is very interesting and being in contact with the community every day, seeing and helping people empower themselves about the political processes and the technology that shape their lives is very rewarding and I remain involved with LQDN to this day. I've also played a key role in Bad Bear, an independent rock promoter based in Paris. Over the past 12 years we have organised over 90 concerts with international, national and local bands in various venues, from small bars to mid-size (~500 ppl) venues. This means a wide array of responsibilities and dealing with all the inevitable mishaps that make rock 'n roll what it is. I am always looking forward to putting the various skills I've acquired to further an innovative, fair, free and open society.
